Whiteman Airport, formally known as Whiteman Air Park, was founded in 1946 and served general aviation following the post WWII era.
Our current maintenance facility, is the oldest surviving span hangar at the airfield. It was built in the late 1940’s and has been featured in nostalgic films. Featuring over 15,000 square feet, we can handle most large twins and can sheltering up to 12 aircraft. A dedicated parts room, battery storage and charging stations, sheet metal and major repair shop.
Electrical and Avionics shop area located in the back and sides of the hangar.
All tooling is on site, including a sheet metal equipment , Gas, MIG/TIG welding , pneumatic test stand, NDT and sand blasting. Hydraulic test stands, electrical and avionics test fixtures, wheel and brake servicing equipment and most specialized tooling for any piston aircraft.
